Scientific name: Suillus granulatus
British name: Weeping Bolete
Polish name: Maślak ziarnisty

Spotted: 05 August 2020, East Lothian
Weeping Bolete is a good edible mushroom, some people don’t like it because of its sticky cap like other Suillus species. Similar looking is Slippery Jack but Weeping Bolete doesn’t have a ring. It produces droplets of milk on the pores which makes easy to identify those species.
